What Makes It Awesome

One of Mumbai’s best vada pavs paired with a view of the iconic CST station, Aram Vada Pav is the place you definitely have to visit if you haven't already. Located right in the heart of Fort, Aram has been serving delectable Maharashtrian snacks for over 85 years, since 1939. Founded by the Tambe family, Aram is an epitome of Mumbai's love for its street food. Kaustubh Tambe, the proud owner behind this long-standing venture, is on a mission to keep Aram Vada Pav Mumbai true to its roots, ensuring authenticity in every bite.

At Aram Vada Pav Mumbai CST, food is the focus. Before coming here, expect not a lot of seating, tiny tables, slightly long queues to place your order, yet that void is more than compensated by food along with really quick service and budget-friendly prices of food items. They can actually assemble your vada pav in less than 6 seconds!

The menu at Aram Vada Pav Mumbai CST is small but packed with flavourful bites that will not disappoint you. Their vada pav is the real hero as it is very well combined with an absolutely spiced potato vada, served with green and red garlic chutneys and fried green chilies that add to that generous kick. If you want to have something new, try their grilled cheese vada pav or the kothimbir wadi for a change. Apart from vada pav, Aram even offers Poha, Vada Usal Pav, Puri Bhaji, all of which makes for a perfect breakfast. Every single dish they serve is Maharashtrian and there’s no trace of Chinese or Italian on the menu.

Other vada pav joints in the city use potato filling mixed with a huge amount of turmeric, but here, turmeric is altogether left out, without compensating on the burst of flavour. We believe their vada pav is best paired with a refreshing glass of chaas (buttermilk) to balance the spice.

Aram’s is just one of those places you have to stop by, when you’re passing by CST. What joy to look at one of the most beautiful buildings in the city while gorging on tasty food.
