Top 10 Cocktail Bars Of Kolkata You Should Visit

AMPM

AMPM cleverly incorporates the following concept within its design. AMPM Park Street is a café and bar that skilfully blends contemporary design elements with a bygone past. The flex of the café-bar? The in-house brand Ngarum roasts single-origin beans directly from Nagaland. These beans produce not just excellent coffee but also unique-tasting beverages. Try the Before PM Martini, which is enhanced with Bengali chilli liqueur, tequila, and espresso, or the Park Street Negroni with coffee-infused whisky. Nolen gur even gives the AMPM Old Fashioned a regional spin. Coffee and cocktails come together here, and they both succeed. Savour the tasty Goan Chorizo Masala packed in a poi or enjoy BBQ corn ribs with a cool mojito crème. A delicious blend of flavours and textures can be found in the Bacon and Blue Cheese Kulchas. The variety of Crispies, which includes kur kuri bhindi, kaccha kela, and shakarkandi, along with a dip of beetroot pachadi, is a delicious option for anyone looking for a light snack.

Little Bit Sober

The most recent addition to Little Bit Sober is "Chapter 3: Friends of the Bar", which pays tribute to the F&B game that has now made Kolkata famous worldwide. Enter the relaxed paradise where your words are an art form and relaxing is the most important thing. Kolkata mainstays like Amar Khamar, Fat Little Penguin, Craft Coffee, Paramount, Nahoum's, Fabelle, and Flurys, all of which are distinguished by their dedication to fine craftsmanship and genuine flavour, serve as inspiration for the cocktails. Instead of imitating what they serve, the bar adopts their mindset. Start with The Cacao that has been infused with JW Black Label Whiskey, Paolo Santo, Cacao Cognac Fragellico and Bitters; Sherbet lights up the table with its blue glow in Bombay Sapphire Gin, Infused Spirulina and Honeydew Melon Soda. While Sorbet, Caffeine, Patisserie, Breakfast, and Surprise Me are equally innovative, Kanji pays tribute to the state of Bengal's primary dish, rice.

Olive Cafe & Bar

Olive Café & Bar in Kolkata provides a laid-back, opulent ambiance by fusing Mediterranean tastes with regional elements. The café's outstanding cuisine and well-mixed cocktails are complemented by its white-walled décor, which was inspired by Tagore's vision. It is a must-visit location because of its signature dishes, which include Bruschetta, Soft Fish Tacos, and Super Bowl Salad, which showcase a blend of Kolkata and Mediterranean culinary traditions. I enjoyed the Hurrycane, Hurry!, a virgin version of the traditional tiki cocktail, which was a bright, fresh blend of grapefruit juice, lemon, and beetroot with a hint of Tahitian vanilla syrup. For a spicier option, I tried the Spice Spice Baby!, a non-alcoholic version of the Picante, which was a gorgeously zesty highball made with pineapple juice, mint, cilantro, and jalapeños, topped with tonic water.

Must-Try: Bruschetta, Got My Goat Cheese Pizza, Chevre & Fig Tart, Pork Belly, Soft Fish Tacos, Burnt Basque Cheesecake, Yellow Taxi, Mishti Joy and Tolly Gunge
