DLF is one of the busiest late-night street food spots in Hyderabad, thanks to the IT hub. Now while there are talks about relocating the stalls to the ITC Kohinoor road, this is still your spot for a quick fix till that happens (yes, we'll keep you posted). So, whether you're a techie looking for a quick chai break or a 'hangry' foodie looking for yummy snacks, DLF has got it all. The place gets crowded as the evening rolls around, and you may often find yourself waiting in long queues. From dosas to desserts, here are the best spots to try at DLF's killer street food scene. 

AM - PM Maggi Point

Opening its shutters at 1 PM, this kiosk runs wild till 1 AM and is one of the most popular joints at DLF. Whether you're a fried Maggi or soupy Maggi lover, all the varieties here taste amazing. There's also egg bhurji, chicken fried Maggi, and Maggi masala on the menu that you shouldn't miss. If you can tolerate the crowd around the kiosk, AM - PM Maggi Point is a must-try at DLF.

Amul

There is no bad time for ice cream, and luckily for us, Amul has a tiny ice cream shop with not just their regular flavours like vanilla and chocolate but also shahi anjeer, Moroccan dry fruit, and kaju draksh. They've got stone ice creams, and Oreo and Ferrero Rocher variants too, but we recommend sticking to the basics and single scoops.

Varalakshmi Tiffins

Varalakshmi Tiffins needs to be on top of your must-try list when you're at DLF. Their Ghee Karam Podi Idlis are everything and literally melt in your mouth. You could also try their freshly made Karam Dosas if you're in the mood for some crispy dosas.

Hunger Maggi Point

We can feel our hunger kicking in as soon as we walk to Hunger Maggi Point, which serves a variety of Maggi topped with a generous amount of grated cheese. The fried maggi here is too yummy to miss out on. It's right next to the Amul store. We recommend heading here for your Maggi fix if you'd like to skip the crazy crowds at other food carts.

We'd recommend trying the pani puri, dahi puri and pav bhaji here. Don't be fooled by the simple set up, this place truly packs in a punch with their mouth watering snacks.

One of the most popular (and crowded) kiosks in DLF closely following AM-PM Maggi Point is Smoky Docky. Come here for the charcoal-grilled shawarmas. The concept is quite new for a street food spot, and the smoky flavour makes the shawarma taste even better. You will also get some affordable Apricot Delight and Mango Delight during the season at this popular spot in DLF.

Seenaiah 4 AM Biryani

Seenaiah Kitchen is famous for Hyderabadi biryani served at midnight only, and we have expert consensus that says, yes, this is, in fact, good biryani. The flavours are all right, and you won’t be disappointed by the portion size either. It’s a modest establishment that can't fit too many people at once, but wait for the seating because it’s worth it.

Lolly Waffle

If you have a sweet tooth and are always looking for desserts, check out Lolly Waffle at DLF Food Street. It’s a small stall that packs a punch! The waffles are soft, and most flavours are chocolate (+10 points for that). They also have crispy waffle sticks, mini waffles and pancakes that are all freshly made in front of you.

Ruchi Choodu

Ruchi Choodu in Telugu means "taste it" and you have to taste their vedi vedi (garam garam) pakode. Chicken, pepper chicken, kaju chicken and their special RC Special —it's hot, crunchy and yum. It's a home made recipe which they prepare hygienically and we have no complains. In fact, food bloggers frequent this place for pocket-friendly snacking. They also have lollipops and wings, but everyone goes here for the fritters.

Fast & Fresh

True to its name, the service here is fast and everything is delicious. Be it manchurian fried rice, lemon chicken, shezwan noodles or cheese Maggi. A meal here doesn't cost a bomb and you'll be full under INR 300. In beverages, expect normal cold drinks. At nights, this place is quite packed with foodies so expect some rush before you go to place the order.

Fornai Cafe

Come here for Indian-style red sauce pasta, cheesy margarita pizza and sizzling Indo-Chinese. Fornai Cafe is a relatively new cafe near the DLF Street Food and it is worth a visit. They have a breakfast menu that runs in the mornings with Mumbai masala omelette, Spanish omelette and sunny side up along with appetisers like Guntur Chicken Satay Sticks, pizzas, sandwiches, pastas and burgers. If you want something unusual, try their chicken or vegetable pot pie.

Hotel 1977

The DLF outlet of Hotel 1977 is a cute shack that serves hot tiffins. Idly, dosa, poori, punugulu, and paratha at reasonable prices, the chutneys here is what steals the show. The peanut and coconut chutney along with the sambar that comes with crispy dosa is what draws the crowd. Love ghee and karam podi? That's a crowd favorite idli and dosa combo.

Everything on the menu is super affordable and they've got some nice vegetarian dishes too, like jackfruit biryani. End your meal with Godavari special Junnu (available all seasons, woohoo) and share an apricot delight. Spotting this place is not difficult, you'll always find a flock of people waiting for their plate.
