Brick Brown

Brick Brown is a home and kitchen brand that sells serving platters similar to Nicobar's. Their Tropical square and round platters instantly reminded us of the Madagascar Chip & Dip Platter from Nicobar. Both are equally vivid and highly functional. You can also shop for fancy bottle openers, serving trays, printed platters, tumblers, and other home accessories.

Pro-Tip: Hosting a lavish dinner soon? Get the right kind of cutlery and serveware from these brands.
The Table Fable

Another homegrown brand that has Nicobar-like aesthetics when it comes to serveware is The Table Fable. This online brand houses exquisitely handcrafted stoneware like coffee mugs, trays, quarter and dinner plates, platters and bowls. Their Burma Set, in particular, reminded us of the bowls at Nicobar.

Amalfiee Ceramics

There are quite a few ceramic brands that take us back to Nicobar's collection. One such amazing brand is Amalfiee Ceramics. The similarity between Nicobar and this brand's whimsical, abstract work especially on crockery is uncanny. For instance, their handcrafted Bird Print Bowls, Handpainted Cactus Dinner Plates, Maharaja Print Cups, Blue Strawberry Coffee Mugs, and so many others.

Folkstorys

Luxurious, contemporary, and very, very pleasing to look at—that's how we'd describe Folkstory's home decor. The Pine Serving Decor Tray, Squareleaf Tray, Plates, Glass Lanterns, Candle Holders, Storage Jars, and more totally give a very Nicobar-esque vibe. Founder Jhilmil Vijay spent 15 years searching for the 'right' decor for her clients before creating Folkstorys to end her search. All their products are handmade by Indian artisans and have unique designs so you know what you buy from here will be one-of-a-kind.

Assemblage

Founded in 2019 by Kavita Singhania, Assemblage makes home and kitchen accessories by blending traditional handcrafts and contemporary designs to bring modern luxury to the table. With a wide variety of sleek and simple designs, along with the more complicated ones, we highly recommend checking out their collection for a super stylish dining space for you and your family.

Pinklay
If Nicobar is quiet luxury-esque, then the Pinklay brings the same vibe with a lot more colours and craft. One look at their site and you would know that it leans into the warmth of Indian designs while keeping things contemporary. Think block-printed cushion covers, hand-woven rugs, vibrant yet elegant curtains and hand-painted ceramics. Most of their tableware looks like it belongs in a slow brunch spread straight off Pinterest. You can easily zhuzh up your space with Pinklay with a perfect blend of soft and statement.

Freedom Tree

Freedom Tree is an absolute favourite brand of ours, and we think it should be one on every decor enthusiast's radar to cop some of the most beautiful pieces to add to their home. They are a one-stop destination for all your home needs, offering furniture, dining, fabrics, furnishing, decor, light, and the most vibrant collection of ceramics. The Decor remedy
My favourite brand on the list, The Decor Remedy is a paradise for any home decor enthusiast. They do everything — mirrors, candle stands, furniture accents and more — but with a slightly more quirky and modern touch than Nicobar. And all their products are both functional and photogenic. Take this Deer Candle Holder for instance, that oozes charm, elegance and can be romanticised for your next aesthetic Insta post.

Ellementry

Blending functionality and aesthetic sensibility in perfect unison, Ellementry by Aysh Baid offers a super cool range of modern minimal decor and furniture that has the ability to brighten up any space. They are well-known and regarded for their wooden decor essentials, but their terracotta containers and organisers, cast-iron pans, and expert-approved kitchen tools, including beautiful kitchenware and ceramics, are equally superior. Their chip and dip bowls, trays with a rustic and minimal design, and wooden bowls are some of our favourites that, right off the back, remind us of Nicobar's Zanzibar collection.

Oorjaa
Oorjaa specialises in lighting and totally matches Nicobar’s vibe and aesthetic lighting (however limited these products are). But it can be a bit on the pricey side! They curate lamps made entirely out of sustainable materials like bamboo fibre, cork, and handcrafted paper. A more of an eco-conscious design choice, it’s a great swap for anyone looking to re-doing their home or amping up a space. Oorjaa’s lamps are sure to elevate your space. I have my eyes and heart set on this Flame of Forest concave Table Lamp.
Price: Lamps start from INR 2,571
Amber Stitch
One of my proudest discoveries, Amber Stitch deserves more attention than it already has. From quilts and bed linens to table linens and curtains, the collection screams elegant and feels ultra luxurious without being over-the-top. We love how most of their pieces are in gentle and calming tones like sage, ivory or rust and everything is handcrafted. The best part? Their products are made in small batches and are unique so your home ends up feeling more curated than mass produced.

Mason Home

If Nicobar is your go-to for trays, vases and just aesthetic home decor and accents that you’ll love Mason Home equally! This Iron Copper Small Eden Vase is one of my favourites and can easily amp up any corner of your house. Mason Home also has pretty cool tables, pouffes and utility furniture that you can check out.
