The Museum of Photography (MAP) is curating a six-month-long exhibition that delves into the art of tikats or textile labels. Curated by Nathaniel Gaskell and Shrey Maurya, the Ticket Tika Chaap: The Art of the Trademark in the Indo-British Textile Trade exhibition will have you discover the world of tikats, tikas or chaaps as these are recognised as some of the earliest forms of branding and advertising in India.
