Pandit Gourang Kodical Memorial Concert By Nishant Panicker
In honour of Pandit Gourang Kodical, a distinguished tabla maestro, renowned for his contributions to Hindustani classical music, classical singer Nishant Panicker is performing a concert. Nishant is a Hindustani classical musician and is among the youngest in the country to have received the acclaimed National Center for Performing Arts (NCPA) Hindustani Vocal Scholarship. Burma Burma is bringing back their Thingyan special menu. Thingyan is the Burmese New Year and harvest festival and if you are wondering what's going to be served, well, there's a feast. The Museum of Photography (MAP) is curating a six-month-long exhibition that delves into the art of tikats or textile labels. Curated by Nathaniel Gaskell and Shrey Maurya, the Ticket Tika Chaap: The Art of the Trademark in the Indo-British Textile Trade exhibition will have you discover the world of tikats, tikas or chaaps as these are recognised as some of the earliest forms of branding and advertising in India.
