The people of Bengaluru don’t compromise on anything, so why would they leave out the tastiest and most accessible of dishes? What started as Danish Sait’s rallying call to #BoycottMediocrePizza has now found its delicious finale with Papa Johns entry into Bengaluru. The city is finally ready to say #IduAwesome Pizza! Coming hot on the heels of their October 4th announcement in response to Danish, global pizza franchise Papa Johns has officially opened its doors in Bengaluru with four new restaurants! If the grand launch night is anything to go by, the city just scored big on the pizza charts.
Food critics, creators, and die-hard pizza loyalists gathered to share their first bites and first reactions. The celebratory evening featured music, live pizza-making counters, fresh ingredient showcases, and pop-up photo corners inspired by Bengaluru’s favourite haunts. Of course, a surprise cheese-pull challenge was right around the corner — who could resist putting that on their Instagram stories?
Papa Johns has always stayed true to its promise of “better ingredients, better pizza,” and here in Bengaluru, all four outlets will be supported by a centralised Quality Control Centre (QCC) in Hennur, where the signature dough is prepared daily to ensure maximum satisfaction from each bite of the pizza. We did say #BoycottMediocrePizza would end with good pizza, and now it has come full circle with #IduAwesome Pizza. So what are you waiting for?
