Love YSL's Libre? You Will Love These Dupes Too

Zara's Golden Decade is a viral dupe for YSL's Libre. They are insanely similar after dry down, the only difference you sense is that the lavender stands out a bit more and the vanilla is a bit more amplified in comparison to the YSL Libre. But with a spot on dupe for the DNA with notes of lavender, jasmine, orange blossom, mandarin and amber in place of musk for giving it that slight woodiness, you can't complain much. While it is not as long-lasting as YSL, we will give it a solid 9/10 for keeping the sophistication intact.

Muse Beauty's Lavender Latte is a workable contender for being a YSL Libre dupe if you are on a strict budget. It has lavender and mandarin in its top notes with a heart of orchid and jasmine backed by amber, vanilla, and vetiver. It is a bit too strong when you spray but one you give it fifteen minutes or so to settle in, it is actually not that bad. TBH, it smells like a cheap distant cousin of the YSL since it lacks that harmonisation of notes but you can try it out if you are just checking if you are into these specific notes.

This one is for men but pardon us for believing that perfumes can be gender flexible since they react with each person's PH differently. While this one is a bit more on the woody side in comparison to Libre — coupled with top notes of bergamot and greens toning down the lavender, followed by wild lily-of-the-valley, orange blossom and Moroccan rose in the middle and finally, Lebanese cedar, oakmoss, vanilla, tonka bean and marine amber giving it that smoky richness. It smells rich and alluring on the skin but is a little low on performance.

Yes, the packaging of this one is a rip off and the scent is a modest try at duplicating the magic of the YSL Libre. Notes are cassis, mandarin, petitgrain, lavender at the top, orange blossom and tiare flower in the middle and dry down of ambergris, cedarwood, musk and vanilla. We appreciate the effort and how a whiff of this one does actually remind you of YSL Libre, only a bit more powdery and faint. It isn't as layered but definitely worth getting for spritzing on the daily.

If you don't mind a more floral take on the YSL Libre, give the Skinn By Titan Sheer Perfume a try. It's an EDP with jasmine petal, peony, heliotrope and magnolia at the heart of it and green pear accord, clementine oil and pink pepper at the top giving it that slightly citrusy crispness. At the base — vanilla, sandal and cedarwood and musk give you that warm and woody feel. It's different from YSL Libre yet very similar and one can appreciate the great fragrance quality since it doesn't smell cheap and is quite strong with amazing stay.

Upon extensive scrolling on the internet, we found that Victoria's Secret's Harvest Moon Gaze mist from their Endless Autumn Fragrance Mist collection can be considered a dupe of the YSL Libre. While we aren't sure of the complete notes, the VS website has listed fresh lavender and 'sequoia glow' which we are assuming is woods and amber since it smells like a much more sexier version of the YSL Libre. Of course, it isn't as concentrated and long-lasting since it's a mist but a great alternative.
