In today’s time, a new clothing brand pops up every time you blink. And while us girlies appreciate the options, at times you can’t help but wonder if most of ‘em are copy pasting the same styles. But, we are glad to report, this Instagram find of ours is setting out to be different, sustainable and not so hefty on the pocket. 

That Romeo is a homegrown clothing and accessories brand based out of Jaipur that’s championing the artsy soul of the city with its playful prints coupled with modern silhouettes to be the perfect girls’ girl.

We are especially a fan of their smocked tops which match our perennial soft girl era in ways one could only wish their crush matched their expectations. Made from 100% cotton, the tops have a smocked bust that hugs you well with a flared hem that gives it peplum feels- very demure and romantic. The prints are cutesy pro max, ranging from checkered with seashell detailing to candy-like stripes, coquette-ish hearts and of course, Jaipuri florals. The writer personally owns two tops and wears them as her undisputed summer uniform to brunches where hogging is the memo since the top stretches quite well when you have an extra slice or two of that pizzette (iykyk).

Apart from tops, they have dresses, shirts, co-ords, kurta sets, jumpsuits and even nightsuits—all crafted in breezy cotton. Oh, and to match your cute outfits, check out their brass jewellery which should definitely not go unnoticed ‘cause the pieces are oh-so-fab. And the lovely quilted tote bags that are an intermix of heritage and certified lover girl vibes with the heartsy patterns.

And before we forget to mention, the brand’s founder, Sumedha Tak hates throwing things away, so you will spot a slew of wall art, wallets, and one-of-a-kind accessories made from fabric scraps.
