KitchenAid appliances are a dream for chefs, cooking enthusiasts and anyone who loves good design. Thanks to its Pinterest-y looks, these products are total kitchen ‘goals’, especially the stand mixers. I don’t even like to cook or bake and yet I had thoughts of buying it — not just because they look super cool on countertops, but also because they deliver some serious performance and have exceptional features.

Needless to say, with that comes a price tag with which I could actually book a trip (if you don’t believe me, check out this article to know it’s actually true). Like me, there are many other people out there who are not looking to splurge five figures on a mixer, no matter how sleek it is (if you’re here, you’re probably one of them too).

Read on and bookmark this list for some of the best KitchenAid alternatives.

As soon as someone mentions KitchenAid, one instantly thinks of their iconic stand mixer. It comes with multiple attachments, makes life super easy, and is built with good quality materials, all while looking exquisite on the countertop of your kitchen. KitchenAid has also introduced a butter yellow colour stand mixer stating the colour of 2025 is yellow and while it's gorgeous, it's still quite steep for half a lakh.

So, this Wonderchef Crimson Edge Die-cast Stand Mixer is our next best bet. Wonderchef, as we all know, is one of the best out there when it comes to kitchenware and kitchen appliances. This Stand mixer comes with three types of beaters for mixing, whisking and dough making. It has 5.7L capacity (one litre more than KitchenAid's) and six speed settings with a three-year warranty. Plus, it looks just as good.

Electric Kettle

Kettles are convenient and having one has become a necessity in many households. KitchenAid offers two types—electric kettles and stove-top kettles. Talking specifically about the electric one, it has a 1.25 L capacity and looks beautiful but costs INR 7,700 with no special feature that aren't available in the market! Instead, opt for this one from Hafele. It has a capacity of  1.7 L, automatic power cut off system for safety, non-drip spout and comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty. Also, it's mostly on a 50% discount or more so you can easily bag it for much less than the cost price.

Stainless Steel Cookware

In case you didn't know already, KitchenAid also sells cookware. All of their cookware is stainless steel, which is supposed to stand the test of time. While you'll find similar ones easily on online giants like Amazon and Flipkart, I suggest a homegrown brand that sells great quality cookware —The Indus Valley. Their stainless steel collection is all tri-ply, just like KitchenAid's and is durable at almost half the price. While you're exploring the brand, I highly suggest checking out their cast iron collection as well.

Blender

Just by looking at KitchenAid's blender, you know it's heavy duty and will have no problem making professional level thick smoothies. It's got multiple speed settings and a massive capacity of 2.6 L. If you're looking for something very similar in terms of built and capacity, then you must check out Balzano's Mixer and Grinder. I've personally used it, and it has never failed me, whether I had to make the thickest of smoothies or grind nuts. It's got eight speed settings and six pre-programmed settings to make it easy to use. It's got a capacity of 2 L and has an LCD screen that displays the time left

when using the blender.

Food Processor

The 9-Cup Food Processor by KitchenAid performs three basic functions—chopping, kneading, and shredding. And while that makes our life easy, we have found this Morphy Richards processor that does much more than that and costs INR 9,000 on discount! It is an all-in-one mixer, grinder and food processor that comes with seven jars, six blades and 11 other attachments.

Knife

A chef cares for their knife as a reader cares for their books, and a traveller cares for their passport, you get the point. A good knife is the key to easier, sharper and faster prep, which is 70% of the work, really. KitchenAid has a variety of knives, I liked their set of three knives, which includes all that a person needs and retails for INR 2,990. Thinkitchen has a similar starter kit of three—a paring knife, utility knife and chef's knife. The Chef's knife is used for slicing and dicing while the utility cleanly cuts food with a hard exterior and soft interior, and lastly, the paring knife tackles all small-scale cutting jobs. The handles are glossy, and it goes without saying that these things are sharp!

Like the stainless steel cookware, KitchenAid’s cast iron cookware is known for its quality and durability and we love their Dutch oven. If you are also fascinated by their enamelled cast iron Dutch Oven and are looking for a more budget-friendly option, then this The Better Home 3.5L Dutch Oven is a delightful find. The vibrant pot adds a pop of colour to your kitchen and that’s the least of its features. Crafted with heavy cast iron, it has a smooth enamel quoting that ensures even heat distribution. While it’s slightly smaller in capacity it makes for it in versatility and charm.

This one’s especially for coffee lovers. We know you can’t put a price on love, but KitchenAid’s Semi Automatic Espresso Machine with Burr Grinder is a whopping 80k and, well, that’s some price. So we’ve found an alternative that can give just as good a cuppa as any coffee shop. This COSTAR Professional Espresso Machine with Grinding & Frothing is a ticket to a barista-level experience right in your kitchen. Almost half the price of KitchenAid (plus it’s always on some discount), it has a built-in conical burr grinder with 15 precise settings, ensuring freshly ground coffee for every brew. Hand mixer

Yomelo 9-Speed Digital Hand Mixer Electric

Yomelo 9-Speed Digital Hand Mixer Electric

We truly understand the importance of a good hand mixer — nobody wants a lumpy cake or dough that isn’t kneaded to perfection. The KitchenAid 9-Speed Hand Mixer is a dream come true but the Yomelo 9-Speed Electric Handheld Mixer is just as good. Priced at INR 2,999, it has a powerful 400W DC motor with 9-speed settings that allow you to adjust the mixing speed according to your needs. What’s more? It comes with five stainless steel accessories, including beaters, dough hooks, and a whisk — perfect for multiple tasks!

Toaster

Westinghouse 4 Slice 1750W Retro Toaster

Westinghouse 4 Slice 1750W Retro Toaster

If sandwiches, bagels and waffles look like your regular breakfast or snack, you definitely have a toaster or have been wanting to buy one. And the KitchenAid 4-slice toaster is crazy good, but it’s also a little heavy on the pocket. Meanwhile, this beautiful and practical toaster by Westinghouse does everything and more, at half the price. The toaster nails the essentials from six adjustable browning levels (so you get the perfect brown and crunch) to wide slots to fit in bagels and homemade bread. Plus, it has functions like defrost, reheat, and cancel in case you have some leftovers that need to be toasted and a removable crumb tray for hassle-free cleaning (this one’s my favourite feature). What we also love is that the retro look adds charm to your countertop.
