Saptami Day
Saptami or Maha Saptami is the seventh day of the 10-day-long Durga Puja. This is when the festive spirit is embraced in its full glory. You'd often see people wearing yellow or orange during the daytime, and something that's essentially lightweight so they can easily move around and stay comfortable.

Saptami Night
As the night approaches, consider changing into something more flowy and fun that's good for pandal hopping. And what better than a Durga Puja kurta set for this occasion? Or even a breezy sharara set or a classic Durga Puja saree that you can never go wrong with. Obviously, add lots of accessories and comfortable footwear to it so you don't have to worry about looking underdressed.

Ashtami Day

Ashtami Night
Ashtami night is the time to go all out (we know we do). On Ashtami night, the pandals are open super late, they have the best performances lined up, and it is the day for dhunuchi! For Ashtami, we recommend a heavy silk saree in a warm royal colour or just a saree, in general, that'll perfectly go with the night's look and feel overall. For a traditional look, opt for a Lal-Par saree in silk or other materials.

Navami Day
In North India, on either Ashtami or Navami, most households have ‘Kanya Pooja’, where kids—representing Goddess Durga are invited for a meal, treats, and gifts. For that, during the day, something comfortable yet chic is recommended, as after that, people perform pooja and finally break their nine-day-long fast. A suit set is the best option for Navami Daytime to easily move around.

Navami Night
Whatever your plans for Navami night might be, whether it's visiting a pandal, going to a temple, or watching live dramatisations of Ramayana, a saree is a great option. Alternatively, you could consider wearing a sharara set or Indo-Western outfits for a modern and chic look. Prefer something more traditional? A silk saree or an Anarkali suit never disappoints.

Vijaydashami
Vijaydashami is the tenth day, when one tends to gravitate towards ethnic wear mostly. You'll mostly spot a bunch of heavy suits, bangle sets, and traditional jewellery. This is also the day of Dussehra, and people often go to see Ravan dehan. The best way to go about an outfit today is to wear something light and comfortable so you're able to enjoy the festivities, but at the same time, something that looks super festive and can be styled easily.
