If a colourful, tropical aesthetic is something you gravitate towards, this Noida home called 'Casa Vistosa' will become a mood board for you. Created by Aditi, founder of Aditi Lawate Designs, for Indian golfer Rashid Khan, it's a 1,600 sq ft apartment that looks straight out of a vacation dream sequence. Vibrant, full of personality and soul, it was designed to give Rashid a space that he can call home amidst a lot of travelling that comes with his profession.
The result is a home full of colours, but not in a blocking way, but more complementary, with rattan and cane detailing, matte black accents, and a pop of blue here and there. All these themes consistently run through the entire house, from the living room and master bedroom to the guest bedroom. Instead of typical floors, you'll find patterned flooring in common areas. The house screams cottagecore. What we love about the house is its deep-hued beds, carved wood art, hand-block printed curtains, and bedding sourced from sustainable brands. Add to it the natural plants in every corner of the house and you've a home you'd never want to take a vacation from.
